Barnabas Center Triad

We believe struggle is part of being human, as well as an opportunity for growth. At Barnabas Center Triad, we walk alongside individuals, couples, and communities in the middle of their hardest moments, pointing them toward connection with God, others and self.

Three Pillars

Counseling

Real conversations with counselors who are clinically skilled and genuinely care about the whole person. We meet you where you are.

Training

Equipping leaders, caregivers, and everyday
people to have the kinds of honest, meaningful conversations that actually help.

Teaching

Faith applied to the realities of life at retreats, seminars, and community gatherings.
"Barnabas has made a significant impact on my life and the lives of so many church members I have referred to their counselors. I know that whomever I send to Barnabas will receive a high level of commitment and grace-centered care, whether they're in crisis or simply need a skilled companion to help them make sense of their world and the disappointments of life."

A place for people in the middle of real life.

We exist to use the struggles of life as places of encounter. Whether you're walking through grief, struggling in your marriage, feeling disconnected from God, or simply carrying a weight you can't name, this is a place where people are met with dignity and care. A place where listening comes before fixing, and where hope is offered with compassion. We are here to sit with you in the struggles of life, and help you find your way through.

We are committed to making care accessible to anyone who needs it. We work with individuals, couples, small groups, and partner with churches and ministries.

Counseling Client

"I came to Barnabas to receive counseling for past trauma after a re-triggering event. Because this traumatic event had spiritual implications, I preferred to have a Christian counselor help me tackle my past trauma head-on. My counselor was able to simplify and make my very complicated thoughts and feelings concrete and tangible. I felt safe and understood and through extremely hard work, we were both able to go into the weeds and fully process the implications of my past trauma- something I had never done before. The counseling I received was life changing and served as a beacon of hope while I was in a very dark place. I am forever for the support I received during an extremely dark and vulnerable time."

Training Participant

"Barnabas training challenged me to think about relationships in an entirely new way. The content was practical and the small-group discussions helped turn concepts into skills. I left with a deeper understanding of relational dynamics, new tools for meaningful conversations, and a greater desire to pursue authentic relationships for the sake of God’s Kingdom."

Training Participant

"The Heart to Heart marriage seminar gave us something that's hard to find in everyday life—uninterrupted time to focus on each other. The combination of teaching and guided couple discussions sparked conversations we hadn't had before and helped us identify areas where we want to grow together. We left feeling more connected, encouraged, and hopeful about the future of our marriage."

Training Participant

"Barnabas Basic wasn't just a training—it was an experience. The role-plays, small-group exercises, and honest stories from the speakers created moments that were both uncomfortable and transformative. I walked away with greater awareness of my need for God, a clearer understanding of the barriers that keep me from loving others well, and practical tools I can continue using long after the event ended."

Training Participant

“Barnabas Basic Training is a great resource for training believers how to enter into other people’s lives. The weekend seminar provides both a solid biblical framework for how to understand people and practical tools in how to care for them. We recommend this training because it equips them to care for others and point them to the hope and joy that are found in Jesus Christ.”
