Who We Are

Our Model

A framework for understanding ourselves, our relationships, and the ways we grow through connection with God and others.

The Barnabas Model

Every person is more than the struggle they carry.

Our approach takes both the weight of human suffering and the hope of the gospel seriously. Meaningful change begins with honest understanding, compassionate connection, and a growing dependence on God.

01

Dignity

You were made in the image of God and created for meaningful relationship with God and others. Whatever you are carrying, your dignity remains true and is not up for debate.

02

Depravity

We live in a fallen world. We all develop strategies to manage pain, maintain control, or protect ourselves. Over time, some strategies can move us away from the life we were made for.

03

Dependence

Real change grows through connection with God—not willpower alone, but a growing dependence on the One who made us and knows us. Honest relationships can become places where change begins.

A framework, not a formula

Growth happens in relationship.

The Barnabas Model makes room for suffering, personal responsibility, grace, and hope. Through counseling, training, and teaching, we help people understand themselves more clearly and move toward healthier connection with self, others, and God.
